Kapahaka

Kapahaka has been taking off like an Airplane this term. We have our Waiata Tira and Whakaeke perfected. We have nearly finished our Waiata a ringa and Whaea Shari has written the poi which is dedicated to Whaea Margaret. We still need to learn the Moteatea and the haka and the Whakawatea but we still have 5 weeks to go. There will be some afternoon practices after school at some stage and some weekend Wananga too for us. I hope that you all enjoy the cd that will be coming out next week for our kids to learn over the time we have left. Thank you for being committed and dedicated to the Kapahaka roopu. Banana Split

We learnt how to make Banana splits with Pa Alex. On the first of each month the table team in room 3 with the most points earnt for sitting up and being tidy, recieve a banana split treat!

The ingredients we used were: Banana's, ice cream, chocolate fish, chocolate sauce and sprinkles
